Responsibilities:

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the Engineering Service Team within the Lead Center SI Customized Solutions of the Division Dynamic Sealing

• Expansion of the global business for Engineering Services in the field of lubricant and sealing customers, including tracking of meaningful KPIs

• Adjustment of the strategy for Engineering Services with regard to future requirements

• Global customer acquisition, especially in the field of lubricant and additive manufacturers

• Development and adaptation of new methods for damage analysis of seals, also in cooperation with FTI

• Implementation and application of these methods as well as interpretation of analysis results

• Participation in the Lube & Seal cooperation between FST and Klüber

• Close collaboration with material and product development in the execution of technical projects

• Consistent implementation of the marketing concept to position the service offering in the market, including participation in technical conferences and publication of technical articles

• Utilization of synergies with other Lead Centers and Divisions within FST in the areas of testing and service methods

Qualifications:

• Completed university degree in chemistry, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar engineering sciences

• Several years of relevant professional experience in the field of technical services

• Leadership experience

• Experience in working with international customers

• Knowledge of order management systems and/or SAP is an advantage

• Knowledge in the field of elastomer-lubricant interactions is a plus

• Strong presentation and communication skills

• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
