Position Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven part-time Leasing Associate to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will showcase and lease residential properties to prospective tenants, guide them through the application process, and deliver outstanding service from first inquiry to move-in. You will play a key role in achieving high occupancy rates while building lasting, positive relationships with our residents.
This part-time position requires 2–3 days per week, including Saturdays and Sundays, with hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Leasing
• Lease suites and renew upcoming lease expiries with specific leasing goals in mind.
• Greet and qualify customers on the phone or in person, aiming to convert each interaction into a new resident.
• Follow up with prospective residents to ensure no lead is lost.
• Collaborate with the leasing manager to lease apartments across the Calgary portfolio.
Customer Service & Relationship Management
• Provide exceptional customer service for each prospective resident.
• Listen attentively to understand the best fit for each client.
• Build relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
• Resolve customer service requirements collaboratively with the team to achieve goals.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis
• Visit competitive properties monthly to stay informed on market conditions and complete competitor surveys.
Administrative Tasks & Reporting
• Complete traffic reports, vacancy reports, and related paperwork as required.
• Ensure that prospective resident applications are completed accurately and thoroughly.
Qualifications
• 1+ years' experience as a residential leasing associate or previous sales experience.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager is considered an asset.
• Excellent communication skills to build relationships and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with the team to achieve team goals.
• Possess a driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
