React Developer (Serbia) (Remote)

We're looking for a skilled React Developer to bring passion and expertise to Plaky at CAKE.com, where the code will directly impact millions of users.

✅ Plaky – A task management software for simple & visual project planning.

What You'll Do

• Work on currently active Plaky application.
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.

Must-Haves

• 3+ years commercial experience with React.
• Hands-on experience with Typescript.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Studying, planning, and implementing scalable architecture for projects.
• Testing and debugging to ensure high code quality.
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work in CET timezone.
• Fluent in Ex-Yu languages (Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin).

Nice-To-Haves

• Hands on experience with wysiwyg text editors (QuillJS or similar).
• Working knowledge of Jotai or similar state management library.
• Experience with d3.js or similar visualisation libraries.
• Familiarity with Storybook.
