  • Direct leadership of all material movement including receiving, storage and distribution through all areas of report, associated staffing, scheduling, safety, storage conditions, employee relations, procedural compliance, and continual process flow improvement.
  • Manage all aspects of adherence to trade compliance requirements in partnership with the trade compliance organization. including compliance to Import/Export, DG, DOT, FMSCA, and other tariff requirements.
  • Oversee daily logistics in partnership with the transportation team to implement programs aimed at continuously increasing supply chain effectiveness and efficiency that facilitate the execution of continually changing customer needs
  • Own team execution of policies, programs and objectives (both strategic and tactical) to ensure the company’s success and a superior customer experience in all aspects of warehouse, distribution, and materials management 
  • Prioritize and react timely to changes in strategy, business needs, or incidents assuring level leadership of all aspects of report
  • Own and assure all spaces within report have appropriate storage solutions, are well maintained and meet all OSHA regulations including but not limited to signage, PPE, and safe passage 
  • Create and maintain a practice of team development using empowerment, teaching to apply the latest principals, concepts, practices and standards by using a variety of on-going projects, assignments, rewards, and recognition 
  • Manage fleet lift equipment assuring equipment is safe and appropriately maintained
  • Leverage lean-sigma, standard work and visual controls to standardize best practices within the warehouse and distribution center driving pride of ownership 
  • Collaborate with all areas of the business to develop strategies to continuously improve the customer experience, reduce costs, improve flow (both visual and physical), increase density, improve timelines and absorb volume.
  • Implement root cause analysis for problem reconciliation and involve all stakeholders in process. Develop value-added approach to supply chain challenges employing analysis, innovation, and experience to the target. Perform modeling for more complex solution designs

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation, Business or Operations Management or equivalent experience is required
  • 5 years of hands-on warehouse experience in a combination of positions related to warehouse management, inventory management, supply chain including procurement, and operations; minimum 2 years in related management level positions
  • Proficient using and training Microsoft office suite, ERP, and other automation software and programs such as MES, TMS in a warehouse management environment.
  • Ability to design, layout, and create appropriate flow within a single facility, and coordinate between multiple facilities of report and/or partnership with owners.
  • Healthcare, medical device or other manufacturing in a regulated environment experience 
  • Results driven, innovative, creative and action-oriented; able to align and energize teams behind common objectives in both a reporting and a non-reporting structure.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and decision-making skills and have the ability to solve complex problems and think innovatively in creating results for the company
  • Hands on related Enterprise-wide business systems experience

Travel:  This role may require up to 10 travel including domestic and international
