The Team
We are seeking a Vice President, Business Planning to serve as a strategic interface between business stakeholders and the Business Enablement and IT organizations, supporting enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. This individual will lead a team focused on capturing business needs, developing project charters, business cases, business requirements, and ensuring initiatives are cross-functionally aligned across process, data, and technology domains, and with the broader enterprise digital strategy. They will also serve as a direct partner with regional business leads ensuring communication and engagement within and directly to regional leadership on business optimization and technology programs and projects.
As part of the Business Enablement team, this role is pivotal in translating strategic business objectives into actionable project scopes that can be effectively delivered through coordinated efforts across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, identifying opportunities for operational improvement and value creation, while ensuring initiatives are grounded in cohesive, scalable design.
The Vice President will help orchestrate the front-end engagement process for business initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise frameworks and the right level of support from process, data, and technology SMEs. This individual will bring strong consulting and cross-functional leadership skills, with experience shaping business strategies into executable plans that drive measurable impact.
What You Can Offer Us
- Lead the global Business Planning function, serving as the strategic bridge between business stakeholders and Business Enablement / IT to scope and structure business-driven initiatives.
- Oversee the development and facilitation of project charters, business cases, and business requirements in support of enterprise programs and transformation efforts.
- Act as a consultative partner to business leaders across regions and functions, helping define and shape initiatives that align with strategic goals and deliver tangible business value.
- Lead a team that supports early-stage initiative definition by validating process, technology, and data interdependencies, ensuring cross-functional cohesion from the outset.
- Ensure business initiatives are well-documented and value-justified.
- Provide strategic guidance on initiative scoping and complexity, advising on prioritization and readiness for engagement by Business Enablement and IT teams.
- Maintain deep knowledge of core business functions and serve as a liaison to internal stakeholders to promote transparency, alignment, and effective collaboration.
- Support cross-functional reviews to align initiatives with enterprise process standards, data governance frameworks, and system architecture.
- Collaborate with the Business PMO to ensure project charters and business cases are transitioned into structured delivery efforts with measurable success metrics.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of business planning methodologies, templates, and tools to ensure consistent and efficient project intake and definition practices.
- Coach business stakeholders and functional leads on how to identify, define, and initiate impactful business initiatives within the company’s transformation framework.
- Help champion an enterprise-wide mindset of end-to-end value delivery, business-driven innovation, and operational excellence.
- As a Vice President you are responsible for the recruitment, performance management, and career development for your team. You’ll also be expected to cultivate a collaborative team dynamic that enables us to meet our business objectives.

What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
- At least 15 years of experience in business planning, consulting, enterprise transformation, or strategic program leadership, ideally within infrastructure, telecommunications, or real estate industries.
- Experience working at the intersection of business strategy and execution, with demonstrated success in shaping initiatives from ideation through delivery.
- Strong consulting background with the ability to facilitate discussions, uncover needs, and translate ideas into actionable plans.
- Deep understanding of how process, technology, and data intersect to enable business outcomes.
- Proven success leading cross-functional planning efforts in a global, matrixed organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence and align stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Experience managing or supporting the development of business cases, project charters, and requirements documentation.
- Familiarity with project intake, governance, and portfolio management processes and tools.
- Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Ability to synthesize complex business problems and design scalable, strategic solutions.
- Fluency in English required; multilingual capabilities are a plus.
- Approximately 20–25% travel may be required in support of this position’s responsibilities.
