We are seeking a highly motivated Database/Datamart Reporting Consultant to join our Upskills ODC Team to work on our client's Murex activities and projects with key responsibilities given as below:

Gather requirements, impact analysis, development and support for change requests, projects and new product development.
Follow strictly to project processes.
Provide production support and participate in implementation projects in Murex Datamart/ Interface Streams.
Develop expertise and participate in the build of Murex Interface/ Reporting solutions.
Develop Trade workflows and interfaces to set up communication between external platforms and Murex to receive trade and other data feeds, process them, save into the system, and send acknowledgement.
Use a combination of MxML Exchange, MxOpenConnect, Murex APIs, and Datamart to successfully deliver such solutions.
Provide technical support to customers, ensuring successful follow up of issues from notification to resolution and validation.
Develop and maintain end-to-end configuration management packages, such as Install, Deploy, and Test Murex Packaged interfaces like MDIT (market data interface tool), Markitwire, BSMT, and MarkitCredit to receive live and end-of-day data from external providers like Bloomberg, Reuters, Markit, etc...
Integrate with various teams to deliver the right solution to client.

Requirements

Master's or Bachelor's Degree Holder, preferably from Data Science, Business Analysis, Computer Science, Information System or relevant disciplines.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
SQL proficiency & experience with at least one well-known RDBMS such as SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, IBM DB2, MySQL.
Basic knowledge of scripting with Unix.
Familiar with Programming Languages such as Java, Python.
Experienced in developing concise and comprehensive test plans and cases.
Experienced in full-stack end-to-end testing (Web UI, Rest API, Database). Performance testing is a plus
Able to communicate well in English.
Proactive with the ability to deliver tasks on-time.
Highly committed and motivated to learn in the Financial Market.
Previous banking experience or knowledge of Treasury Products or Treasury System (Murex, Calypso, SunGard, etc.) will be an advantage.
