This position is full time, days, at Methodist Hospital.

Supervises and directs the duties, responsibilities, schedules and daily operations of the non-invasive cardiology team. The non-invasive supervisor will partner with the department manager to recruit, hire and develop training for the non-invasive cardiology team. The supervisor will resolve problems in a collaborative fashion with all team members and department leadership. The supervisor will ensure the provision of 24/7 patient care services by developing effective working relationships with leaders from nursing, clinical engineering and IT services. The supervisor will collaborate with department leaders and contribute to the decision making process. The supervisor will be available by phone after hours and weekends as needed to support the department.

  • Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • 3-5 years experience in cardiac telemetry, EKG or related cardiology field required.
  • Requires ability to be self-directed and work independently.
  • Requires a high level of interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • Requires the ability to promote team work and develop team members.
  • Requires basic computer operations experience and some familiarity with software programs such as Word; Excel and Outlook.
