Senior Executive - Planning 

(Based at Bodyline – Horana )


Bodyline is a joint venture between MAS Holdings, Triumph International Germany and Mast Industries USA, offering apparel solutions from concept to delivery. Bodyline specializes in producing fitted garments and superior next-to-skin performance wear; and is the go-to vendor for bra innovations. The company has evolved from making simple minimalist styles for a single customer to multiple styles and silhouettes across product categories for global brands.

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to planning and scheduling orders to manufacturing Plants and ensuring that the orders are scheduled according to chassis to get the maximum efficiency while adhering to customer expectations and achieving organizational objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Communicate delivery confirmation for new orders and providing raw material requirements to Customer Planner/ Plant Planner.
  • Prepare 10 weeks rolling basis detailed production plan/ loading plan on weekly basis and circulate to the relevant stakeholders which is used as a short-terms decision making tool by the value chain.
  • Scheduling confirmed and projected orders to production modules, taking relevant information and ensure that the orders are planned to maximize the plant efficiency. 
  • Attend pre-production meetings/ risk analysis meetings in relevant plants in order to share or gather required information.
  • Monitor production on a daily/ weekly basis and advice significant variances if any.
  • Set the critical path for new orders and align the critical activities to adhere to each event to ensure that the PSDs are met on time.
  • Make timely decisions to resolve disruptions in the process whilst coordinating with relevant teams to ensure that the manufacturing plans are feasible and aligned to customer and organizational objectives.
  • Conduct weekly planning meeting with Production Managers, procurement team and the customer service team and ensure that the planned orders are on track to meet the customer delivery. 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 

  • Degree in Engineering / Mathematics or Applied Science/ Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in Apparel Manufacturing.
  • Good analytical and presentation skills.
  • Very good communication skills in both English & Sinhala.
