Intern, Correspondent Operations - Delegated - UW Conv – APAC

POSITION SUMMARY:

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-driven individual to join our team as a Loan Setup Reviewer and/or Underwriting Component Reviewer. This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates looking to break into the mortgage and lending industry. You’ll receive hands-on training to review closed loan documents, ensure accuracy and compliance, and build your career in a fast-paced, professional environment.

JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review closed loan documents for completeness and accuracy using our Loan Setup / Underwriting Component checklist.

• Learn to identify deficiencies and enter suspense conditions into the Loan Origination System (LOS)

• Work with different loan types such as Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA

• Support data entry and updates into LOS for loan delivery

• Gain a working knowledge of investor guidelines like Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA

• Adhere to internal deadlines and work as part of a production team.

• Be open to flexible work schedules, including night shifts if required.

 

QUALIFICATION:

• Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree (any field, preference for Finance or related areas)

• Strong attention to detail and good comprehension skills

• Effective communication skills—both written and verbal

• Eager to learn and adapt quickly to changing requirements.

WORK SCHEDULE OR TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

This role follows a Day/Mid shift schedule.

 The position is structured as hybrid: while most responsibilities can be fulfilled remotely, training will be conducted on-site at our Mumbai office (Onity Group Inc).

 Candidates should be open to work from office as needed, based on business requirements and team coordination needs.
