Description
Position Summary:
The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, orientation, supervision and evaluation of students and clinical instructors on campus and at the clinical sites.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists the program(s) with seeking new clinical agencies/facilities as needed to provide quality experiences for students and to support program growth.
- Conducts site visits at clinical agencies and facilities to observe faculty and students at work.
- Assists the Program Director(s) with the supervision and evaluation of clinical faculty.
- Assists clinical faculty by providing evaluation devices of student learning and clinical experience to measure progress and competency.
- Assists with hiring and selecting new clinical faculty as needed to support the program(s).
- Functions as a liaison between the program(s) and the departments of the cooperating clinical agencies.
- Assists the Program Director(s) with the evaluation of student clinical progress and clinical competency based on program philosophy and objectives.
- Assists with planning graduation ceremonies and new student orientation.
- Assists Program Director(s) with creating and organizing clinical schedules and distribution of calendars to faculty and students.
- Assists Program Director(s) in scheduling regular clinical faculty meetings.
- Orients new faculty to policies and procedures of the program and to the clinical sites.
- Participation in continuing education programs and academic courses.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Comply with all governmental regulations and standards of accreditation.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong skills in analysis, judgement, planning, organization, attention to detail and dependability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy skills including functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.).
- A willingness to follow high ethical standards.
Education/Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an administrative role (Required).
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License (Required).
- Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent (Required).
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent (Preferred).
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands are those required in a professional office setting and higher education environment: communicating with students and staff, demonstrating procedures and techniques, and getting to and from appropriate classrooms and offices. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Working Environment:
Professional office setting: moderate noise levels; controlled indoor climate. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

- This position is an onsite position.
- This position will be based out of
- West Palm Beach (Main Campus)
- Fort Lauderdale (A Branch of West Palm Beach)
- Travel to various clinical, ride-time and/or externship sites is required, and the use of a personal car for performance of job duties may be reimbursed at the company’s approved rate.
- Any changes must be reviewed by the Chief Academic Officer/Vice President of Academic Affairs and President/Chief Operating Officer (COO). All final approvals must come from the President/Chief Executive Officer.
