Director

Key responsibilities include:

1.Leadership & Strategy: •Develop and implement the UI/UX strategic roadmap •Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and foster a culture of innovation. ● 2.User Research and Analysis: •Lead user research to understand the needs, behaviours, and pain points of the target audience for AI products. •Analyse user feedback, data, and market trends to inform design decisions and improve user experience. •Create user personas, journey maps, and scenarios to guide the design process and ensure solutions are user-centric.

 

3.UX/UI Design: •Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for AI products, ensuring they are easy to use and meet the needs of diverse user groups. •Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that communicate design concepts and functionality clearly to stakeholders and development teams. •Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI components that ensure consistency across AI products and platforms. • 3.Collaboration with AI and Development Teams: •Work closely with AI engineers, data scientists, and software developers to integrate AI models and technologies into user interfaces seamlessly. •Collaborate on the design of dashboards, data visualizations, and interaction patterns that help users understand and interact with AI-driven insights and recommendations. •Ensure that the final designs are implemented correctly by providing detailed design specifications and working closely with developers throughout the development process. 4.Usability Testing and Iteration:•Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback on design prototypes and identify areas for improvement.•Analyze testing results and iterate on designs to enhance usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction.•Ensure that AI products are designed with accessibility in mind, adhering to best practices and standards (e.g., WCAG).●5.Innovation and Creative Problem-Solving:•Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in UX/UI design, particularly as they relate to AI and emerging technologies.•Experiment with new design concepts, tools, and techniques to enhance the user experience of AI products.•Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing designs and workflows, driving continuous innovation within the design team.

 

6.Design Documentation and Communication:•Document design processes, decisions, and guidelines to ensure that designs are well-communicated and can be easily understood by stakeholders and development teams.•Present design concepts and solutions to internal stakeholders, explaining the rationale behind design choices and how they meet user needs.•Create engaging visual assets, presentations, and design artifacts that effectively communicate the value of AI products to internal teams/clients.
 

Educational qualifications

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.•Certifications in UX/UI design, user research, or related areas are advantageous.

Work experience

•15+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong focus on designing interfaces for complex, data-driven applications.•Proven experience designing user interfaces for AI products, data visualizations, or enterprise software is highly desirable.•Demonstrated experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and applying findings to improve design solutions.

Skills

•Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar, with a strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI design work.•Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.•Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Axure) and a good understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.•Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.•Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to create innovative design solutions that enhance user experiences.
