About the role – full-time, permanent

As the face of People First Bank, the Corporate Administration Officer plays a key role in creating exceptional first impressions for both internal and external visitors. You will be the welcoming presence in our Eagle Street Head Office, greeting guests warmly and ensuring every interaction is professional, polished, and memorable.

You will keep our reception area running seamlessly by planning ahead, managing the day-to-day flow, and maintaining the Executive area to the highest standard. A large part of your role will also be providing vital administrative support to our Banking Operations team – a large, dynamic group spread across multiple states – ensuring they have the crucial support needed to operate efficiently and deliver exceptional results. From coordinating internal and external mail and courier requirements, to overseeing meeting room and desk bookings – making sure spaces are clean, equipped, and ready for business – your organisational skills will shine. You will also support corporate events such as morning teas, taking care of catering, set-up, and pack-down, as well as assisting executives with meetings, travel arrangements, and expenses when required.

In this dynamic role, you will balance multiple priorities with confidence, ensuring everything runs like clockwork and every visitor leaves with a positive impression.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the Reception area runs smoothly by planning your day well in advance and having oversight of the day-to-day operations
  • Be proudly diligent and ensure the Executive area in Eagle Street Office is always presented to the highest standard
  • Ensure office security is maintained by managing access to secure and non-secure areas of the building and ensuring visitors
  • Executive support including meeting management, travel management and expense management when required.
  • Provide Eagle Street based support to other areas of the business as required
  • Assist with any other tasks as required by the Executive Team

About you:

You are warm, friendly, and effortlessly professional – the kind of person who makes every visitor feel welcome while keeping operations humming with ease. With experience in administration, reception, personal assistance, or similar roles, you’re confident juggling calendars, managing busy inboxes, and keeping the day on track. Tech hiccups don’t throw you – you’re quick to troubleshoot IT and connectivity issues and find smart solutions. Whether working independently or with the team, you are self-directed, resourceful, and unflappable under pressure. Your versatility and ability to multitask means you juggle tasks like a pro and bring a customer-first focus to everything you do.
