About the Role:
Ferrero Australia is seeking a commercially astute and results-driven Account Manager to lead the strategic development and execution of the On The Go channel, which includes Petrol & Convenience and Vending. This role presents an exciting opportunity to manage a high-impact portfolio within a globally recognized FMCG organization, driving growth through strategic planning, strong customer partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow key customer accounts within the On The Go channel, ensuring alignment with Ferrero’s commercial objectives
- Develop and implement customer-specific business plans that drive sustainable growth and meet sales and visibility targets
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure best-in-class execution
- Lead financial management of assigned accounts, including full P&L ownership, budget oversight, and claims handling
- Use data and insights to inform strategic decisions, conduct performance reviews, and identify new growth opportunities
- Collaborate across functions to optimize product range, space allocation, and in-store execution
- Ensure all trade spend, activations, and customer-facing initiatives align with Ferrero’s brand standards and guidelines
Who we are looking for:
- University degree in Business Management or related field
- Good experience in FMCG sales or account management; experience in the Petrol & Convenience channel is highly regarded
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with a proven ability to deliver results
- Demonstrated capability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across various functions
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
- Proactiveness and growth-orientation, with strong planning and negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a strong team-focused mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance culture
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP BW/BO and SAP TM is a plus
- Willingness to travel and engage directly with customers and field teams as needed
