Heavy Diesel Mechanic - Gisborne [4 on, 4 off]

Our pursuit of excellence empowers New Zealand exporters to compete effectively in global markets.   About the Role   Position: Diesel Mechanic   We’re looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to carry out repair/maintenance work on a range of heavy off-road machinery, including loaders, material handlers, terminal tractors and forklifts. You’ll work in a fully equipped workshop with access to all the tooling and support you need to get the job done.   Location: Gisborne Port   Status: $42.44 p/h Full-time, 4 on / 4 off roster, working hours 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM   Specific Responsibilities

• Replacing / repairing machinery components
• Servicing machinery
• Diagnosing and repairing a variety of heavy loaders, excavators, forklifts & trucks
• Repairs to attachments, grapples & log heads

Who we're after:   We are seeking candidates who are Level 4 Trade Certified (preferably A grade). You should be familiar with hydraulic systems, have a verified history of working on heavy vehicles / machinery, hold a Minimum Class 2 License, and demonstrate the ability to work both autonomously and in a small team environment with a positive can-do attitude.   What we can offer you:
