Description


Are you a seasoned software Application Developer looking to take on a leadership role? We are seeking an experienced Application Development Manager to lead our dynamic team at The Evans Network of Companies (ENOC). In this senior-level position, you will not only contribute to coding, debugging, testing, and configuration but also serve as a functional lead to guide other application developers in achieving project milestones.


As the Applications Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in defining clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for the Application Development team. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that the final product of released code is not only functional and reliable but also aligns with company standards and business objectives. Typical position workload is 60% management / 40% coding.



Essential Job Duties

  • Define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for team members
  • Ensure active engagement and progress toward established project milestones
  • Guarantee that the final product of released code meets company standards and fulfills business objectives
  • Understand business objectives and end-user requirements, translating them into application/program features
  • Write high-quality code to program applications
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications
  • Deploy new/updated processes into production
  • Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update, and incorporate new features
  • Monitor Robotic Process Automation (RPA) processes to mitigate software or application-related issues
  • Actively participate in development team and end-user meetings regarding projects


Requirements


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
  • 5+ years of experience in software programming
  • Supervisory experience
  • 2+ years of experience with the Microsoft .NET Framework using C#
  • Proficiency with ASP.Net and JavaScript/jQuery
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles and development practices 
  • Strong knowledge of T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server 
  • Well versed with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Proficient in coding, debugging, testing, and configuration
  • Skilled with application development
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Project management experience
  • Analytical problem-solver
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to define project requirements and timelines
  • Coaching experience
  • Collaborative team player
  • Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English in a professional manner


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Cleo API integration tools (similar to Mulesoft, Boomi, etc.)
  • Experience with DevOps tools (Git, Jira, Confluence, etc.)
