About the Role
We are seeking an Inventory Control Associate to join our team. Under general supervision from the Purchasing & Inventory Control Manager, this position performs a variety of duties in receiving, issuing, handling, and accounting for inventory stock. This individual embraces and supports our in-person/on-site work culture and embodies our company values of Ownership, Collaboration and Respect.
What you can do for us:
- Communicates any discrepancies and/or issues related to movement of inventory
- Acts as key Inventory Controls contact for issues related to inventory.
- Promotes a team environment and sharing of knowledge.
- Maintains records and develops reports for the reconciliation of inventory.
- Demonstrates continuous efforts to improve and streamline inventory work process.
- Conducts inventory audits as needed to assure accuracy.
- Assists with the coordination of inventory projects as needed.
- Supports physical inventory preparations and execution to ensure accuracy.
- Performs thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources.
- Communicate with various departments, to provide, receive information, resolve questions and issues
- Ability to problem solve and be analytical

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required, Associates degree and/or Bachelors preferred
- Inventory Control experience, Minimum 3-5 years in a retail/wholesale environment
- Good working knowledge of WMS and ERP (SAGE X3)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Vlookup, Pivot Tables)
- Forklift experience: Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, and Sit-down forklift.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends to complete mandatory inventory counts
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to change and quickly learn new procedures and processes.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. · Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.· Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.· Required to use stairwells to attend meetings and engage with employees on multiple floors throughout building.

Compensation: Starting base pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
