The opportunity

Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Senior Security Officer to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin. As a Senior Security Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the safety and security of guests, employees, and property, coordinating with the security team to enforce rules and regulations, and responding to incidents or emergencies. What you will do?

• Assist with the completion of patrols around the casino, hotel, and resort areas
• Review reports relating to any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences
• Ensure all tasks are completed in line with Federal and Territory legislation
• Respond to any first aid calls when required
• Attend training courses regarding compliance and regulatory enforcement procedures 

More about you

• Several years of experience in a security role and demonstrated experience in leading a strong team

• Ability to respond to emergency situations in a calm and efficient way
• Ability to work on a rotating roster
• Security License and Crowd Control License issued by the NT Government
• First Aid certificate, CPR certificate, Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate, Responsible Service of Gambling certificate, and Casino Operative’s Licence is required
