Job Overview:

Oversight of reporting of regulatory data and surveys, key quality indicators. Collaboration with Infection Prevention Officer for oversight of infection surveillance, prevention, and control activities and practices by assessing, monitoring and making recommendations to reduce infections and maintaining hospital-wide infection surveillance, prevention, and control policies. Oversight of patient safety program by assessing, monitoring and making recommendations to improve patient safety practices. Oversight of medical staff quality including FPPE, OPPE, peer review, and department quality indicators. Oversight of compliance for Deaconess Henderson Hospital including regulatory standards. Point of contact for risk events.


Required: Certifications/Licenses/Experience:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) with the ability to practice in Indiana and Kentucky 
  • BSN
  • CHC - Certification in Healthcare Compliance
  • CPHQ - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality
  • Minimum of five (5) years' relevant experience of related clinical experience
  • Previous quality assessment/improvement, infection prevention, patient safety and/or corporate compliance experience
    • Preferred to be a least 3 years

 

Preferred Certification/License/Experience:

  • MSN
