The project empowers OEMs to deliver modern, customizable infotainment experiences by integrating Android Automotive into their vehicles. It addresses the challenge of fragmented in-car software by offering a unified, scalable platform that supports navigation, media, connectivity, and essential system-level features.

As a Field Application Engineer (FAE), you will be responsible for environment setup support, IVI device flashing, issue management, onboarding, and familiarizing yourself with project deliverables.

Job Description

• Support the setup and configuration of development and testing environments for Android Automotive IVI systems
• Assist with flashing and validating IVI devices, including in-vehicle installations
• Capture system logs, reproduce reported issues, and track resolution progress in coordination with development and QA teams
• Maintain and update engineering validation checklists to ensure system functionality and compliance
• Prepare and deliver weekly summaries and final support reports documenting technical activities and outcomes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and validation of software builds
• Act as a technical liaison between local engineering teams and international stakeholders

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in embedded systems, automotive software, or field engineering roles
• Hands-on experience with Android Automotive, IVI systems, or similar embedded platforms
• Familiarity with software flashing tools, log analysis, and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira)
• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English

Would Be A Plus:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools
