Breast Health Assistant - Diagnostic Imaging - Full-time

The Breast Health Assistant works in a fast-paced environment under the direction and supervision of technologists, leaders, or providers. They are responsible for overseeing the scheduling and coordination of patient exams, ensuring accurate and complete information is obtained before the exam. This role involves managing incoming phone calls, handling patient records, assisting in patient care needs as needed, and performing various administrative duties. The Breast Health Assistant is expected to demonstrate a positive and helpful interaction style, maintain self-control under stressful situations, and take the initiative to improve patient care and departmental efficiency.

Education Required: High School Graduate or Equivalent (GED).

Related Years of Experience Required: Experience in the health care field preferred.

Skills Required: Excellent customer service skills, Strong verbal communication skills, Able to multitask, Strong time management and organizational skills

Detailed-oriented.

Shift: Working 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday.
