Job Description
We are seeking an organized and efficient Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Rockville, MD. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our recruitment efforts and ensuring a smooth hiring process for both candidates and hiring managers.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from job posting through to onboarding
- Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Manage and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and appropriate spreadsheets with candidate information and status
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screenings with potential candidates
- Prepare and distribute offer letters and other recruitment-related documents
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions
- Maintain a database of potential candidates for future openings
- Assist in organizing and attending job fairs and recruitment events
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
- Support the development and implementation of recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Conduct thorough reference checks to validate candidate qualifications, work history, and professional conduct
- Work with high volumes of data for import/export and maintain data quality and talent pipelines
- Manage company’s social media accounts: Create/post content to boost social media presence, capture company culture and engage the community
- Adhere to the highest degree of professionalism and strict confidentiality on matters that require discretion
- Other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in HR or recruitment - experience with the architecture, engineering, and construction field preferred
- Recruitment for Federal/Department of Defense (DOD) sectors is a plus
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their use in recruitment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes
Additional Information
Salary: Between $55k - $75k, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
