Provide leadership, training, remediation, and ongoing mentorship for a minimum of ten (10) team members in a practice of at least four (4) providers.
Be able to effectively communicate, verbal and written, and exhibit positive interpersonal skills with a variety of people of different skill sets not limited to your current department and including physicians, minimum of four (4), team members, and a minimum of ten (10) patients.
Perform all duties expected of the Medical Office Assistant and have a base knowledge of other areas of practice.
Complete Revenue Cycle work queues daily to ensure timely billing of claims as well as complete coding requests via email.
Monitor Time and Attendance, approve planned time off and manage unscheduled leaves including arranging coverage.
Handle customer service opportunities including patient complaints/concerns and service recovery.
Communicate information to team members including conducting regularly scheduled department meetings.
Work in conjunction with the Manager, Physician Practices to complete annual performance evaluations including review with team member. Also, work collaboratively to address performance issues or team member issues when needed.
Follows established procedures to maintain confidentiality of all patients and practice related information.
Promote an environment of team work.
