Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain services using Java Spring Boot for backend microservices.
• Design, build, and test user interfaces using Angular.
• Manage data storage and queries using PostgreSQL.
• Integrate and utilize CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) databases and tools for identifying vulnerabilities.
• Implement and optimize dependency scanning mechanisms to identify outdated or vulnerable third-party libraries.
• Incorporate and maintain HAFJ OSS (Open Source Software) compliance and usage tracking.
• Create and maintain basic and detailed technical designs for new components and services.
• Write clean, maintainable code with strong coverage through unit tests.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Java development with Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in Angular (preferably Angular 8+).
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or equivalent relational databases.
• Experience with CVE systems, vulnerability scanning tools, and dependency analysis.
• Familiarity with HAFJ OSS tools/processes or similar open-source compliance platforms.
• Solid understanding of software design principles, UML, and technical documentation.
• Proven ability in unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Good communication skills and problem-solving mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience with tools like OWASP Dependency-Check, Snyk, or WhiteSource.
• Familiarity with container security (e.g., Docker image scanning).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
• Prior experience in vulnerability remediation workflows.
