OUR TEAM🌟

We’re building and scaling high-performance Python-based services that power messaging automation, analytics, and AI features for millions of users. As we expand, we need a Python Architect who can guide our engineering teams toward long-term technical excellence, design scalable and secure service architectures, and establish unified best practices across the organization.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work closely with engineering leads, product managers, and other architects to make critical technical decisions, mentor teams, and ensure our Python ecosystem is future-ready

WHAT YOU’LL DO🤖

Technical Leadership

Establish and maintain a consistent development style and Python coding standards.
Participate in designing service architectures and reviewing key architectural decisions.
Champion a culture of technical excellence across teams.

Strategic Vision

Guide teams in selecting frameworks, tools, and approaches aligned with Manychat’s long-term goals.
Evaluate emerging technologies for adoption and innovation opportunities.

Quality Assurance

Implement and enforce best practices for code quality, CI/CD, and automated testing.
Improve release cycles, monitoring, logging, and observability processes.

Solution Scalability

Analyze load profiles and design for horizontal and vertical scaling.
Optimize caching, autoscaling, and performance tuning strategies.

Documentation & Standardization

Create and maintain project documentation templates, style guides, and architecture diagrams.
Ensure API specifications (OpenAPI, GraphQL SDL) are consistent and up to date.

Risk & Blocker Management

Identify technical risks and potential bottlenecks.
Collaborate with teams to remove blockers and implement preventive measures.

Mentorship & Training

Conduct workshops, code reviews, and technical sessions to upskill Python engineers.
Represent Manychat in the wider Python community.

Communication

Present complex technical concepts clearly to both engineering teams and leadership.
Prepare and lead architectural discussions and design reviews.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING💥

7+ years of professional Python experience in large-scale, production-grade environments.
Proven expertise in designing and operating microservices or distributed architectures.
Deep knowledge of asynchronous programming, concurrency, and Python performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD, automated testing (pytest, unittest), and observability tools.
Strong cloud knowledge (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with REST/gRPC APIs, message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka), and databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB).
Excellent communication skills and proven experience mentoring engineering teams.

Experience with AI/ML integrations in Python services.
Background in building high-traffic APIs with complex business logic.
