Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner or Senior People Advisor to join our Geraldton team, providing HR support across our Roads and Port business units. This is a hands-on role for a disciplined professional who thrives in an operational environment. You will address complex industrial relations matters with confidence, coach leaders to strengthen capability, and drive results while fostering a culture of accountability, high performance, and operational excellence. In addition, you will partner closely with our operational leaders through this significant growth phase, ensuring all people-related priorities are managed effectively and nothing falls through the cracks.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferable).

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner or stepping into a new Senior HRBP role.

  • Experience in mining, logistics, transport, or heavy industry (essential).

  • Strong industrial relations and employee relations capability, including previous experience with EBA negotiations.

  • Proven track record in leadership coaching and building management capability.

  • High resilience, strong commercial acumen, and a decisive, “gets it done” mindset.
