What is this role? 

The Senior Director of Marketing is a strategic and performance-driven leader responsible for managing the Brand’s day-to-day marketing initiatives, from brand awareness to conversion and retention with a strong emphasis on digital performance marketing.

Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Senior Marketing Director ensures daily progress on campaigns and leads projects seamlessly from concept to execution, coordinating across internal teams, external agencies and partners to deliver measurable growth. This person oversees both digital and traditional channels, manages the marketing budget, sets timelines and deliverables, and maintains alignment with brand, performance, and business goals. The ideal candidate combines hands-on digital expertise, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What does an average day look like?

Driving Results: 

    • Build and execute multi-channel campaigns that deliver measurable growth in awareness, engagement, and sales.
    • Set clear KPIs for all marketing activities and track performance to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
    • Maintain accountability for deadlines, budgets, and deliverable quality.

Taking Ownership: 

    • Support the company’s marketing vision, strategy, and execution from planning through post-campaign analysis.
    • Brief internal teams and external agency partners to deliver on brand, creative, and performance goals.
    • Own the marketing project pipeline ensuring smooth execution without gaps or delays.

Making Decisions: 

    • Use data-driven insights to make strategic calls on channel investment, campaign adjustments, and market expansion.
    • Prioritize marketing initiatives that drive the highest business impact.

Cultivating Relationships: 

    • Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, creative agencies, media partners, and influencers.
    • Foster a collaborative, high-performance marketing team culture.

Instilling Trust: 

    • Provide transparent updates on project status, challenges, and wins.
    • Uphold brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.

Customer Focus: 

    • Create marketing experiences that resonate with target audiences, strengthen loyalty, and maximize lifetime value.
    • Develop strategies that address customer needs across the full lifecycle, from acquisition to retention.

What background should you have? 

  • 10+ years in marketing, with experience managing multi-channel campaigns and timelines.
  • Experience in CPG, Food and Beverage, or other related industries. 
  • Strong background in performance/digital media.
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external agencies.
  • Skilled in campaign analytics and understanding performance metrics.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
  • Strong communication skills to manage updates across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Well versed in managing consumer and brand insights studies and communicating results.
