Sydney Trains’ Tangara fleet makes up a quarter of our suburban rail fleet. To ensure its longevity, the Tangara Fleet Life Extension project will upgrade operating systems, modernise onboard passenger information systems, and enhance accessibility features for mobility-impaired passengers. The project will also help build our future workforce capabilities, strengthen local economies and support the long-term growth of NSW’s transportation industry.

 


In this role, you'll:

 

  • Ensure the material requirements for the Tangara Fleet Life Extension project operated stores are processed and supplied accurately in a cost effective and timely manner

 

  • Supervise all warehouse processes directly linked to the TFLE project to ensure they are staffed and equipped appropriately to deliver required outputs promptly and enable overall effective process flow to meet required project requirements.

 

  • Liaise with project internal and external stakeholders to optimise depot warehouse performance, investigate and close out issues and develop or facilitate the creation of plans for products and services that meet the needs of the TFLE project

You are an experienced Supply Chain Management professional with experience in management, logistics, supply chain or other relevant discipline.

 

You are an experienced people leader, and have a proven record of managing, developing and leading teams within a complex operational environment.
