We are looking to add an Associate Director of Media Technology which will serve as an expert on marketing technology and is responsible for staying abreast of the latest digital trends to bring innovative solutions based on clients needs. This position is essential in the day-to-day running of the Media Technology department and designated accounts.  This individual must work well in a team-based, fast paced, detail-oriented environment, resourceful and demonstrates the initiative to participate in advanced projects. The Associate Director, will be required to develop and present presentations and POVs to clients, media partners/vendors, internal/external account teams, etc.   

 

Campaign & Technical Support: 

  • Establish best practices and maintain adherence to industry standards 

  • Provide leadership support within internal departments and external partners supporting all trafficking needs and ensuring that all materials are received and/or distributed properly 

  • Act as a technical authority for all technical issues involved in running online ad campaigns (including trafficking of remarketing capabilities, VAST/In-Stream Video, Rich Media and Audio)  

  • Evaluate, assess, and recommend the most effective verification solutions, vendors, tools, and processes to satisfy clients' objectives 

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the ad tech landscape (Ad Serving, Data Management, Identity Resolution, etc.) with a focus on interconnectivity and continuity 

  • Point of escalation for all technical issues 

  • Experience with tag management systems, data management platforms, and/or web analytics systems.  

  • Experience with or understanding of database technologies are a plus. Experience with Kochava, Adjust, AppsFlyer, or other mobile attribution platforms a huge plus 

 

Client & Internal Relationships: 

  • Keep clients and internal teams moving and on task to complete deliverables 

  • Manage relationships with external vendors 

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including ability to speak to and author materials on technical subject matter in a manner that is easy to understand 

  • Cross functional knowledge of Analytics, Media Planning/Buying, Programmatic Buying, Process management 

  • Ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience effectively  

  • Possesses mature and professional business acumen in personal and written communications  

Strategic Thinking & Leadership:  

  • Strong project management skills, exhibiting ability to: pay high attention to detail, manage multiple projects at once, decompose a process into its individual steps, forecast deliverable timelines and meet those timelines, and identify potential obstacles down the road  

  • Recognize recurrent or potential issues and problems, and know when to escalate and propose solutions, where possible  

  • Takes clear ownership of assigned tasks  

  • Manage and mentor direct reports as well as more junior members on the team 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA a plus 

  • 7+ years experience  

  • Experience managing a team people 

  • Proficient in MS office suite (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint)  

  • Expert in third-party ad servers and rich media technology (Google Campaign Manager (GCM), VAST/VPAID, DCO, Rich Media, etc.)  

  • i.e., HTML coding 

 

The annual salary range for this position is . Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
