MP&P Technical Analyst - NDE/Measurement (Experienced or Senior Level)

The BCA Materials and Processes (M&P) Engineering organization is looking for an experienced or senior-level Non-Destructive Evaluation Technical Analyst specializing in Materials, Process, and Physics to join our team in Tukwila, Washington. Position Responsibilities:

Evaluates parts, materials, processes, technology or equipment through research and testing to ensure safety, reliability and adherence to requirements and specifications.
Analyzes failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures.
Generates test plans, identifies and categorizes failures, determines root cause and documents results and recommendations.
Proposes, develops and validates revisions to procedures and specifications.
Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes.
Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes and coordinates resolution of issues with suppliers and customers.
Supports continuous improvement of products and processes by designing, developing, fabricating, testing, evaluating and implementing new concepts and technology.
Provides knowledge and technical consultation to internal and external customers.
Works in a team environment.
Develop probes and techniques for prototype parts.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test)
Phased array ultrasonics experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Aerospace industry experience
Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
Experience do you have reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Current American Society for Nondestructive Testing/Nondestructive Testing (ASNT)/NDT) Certification in Eddy Current Testing
Current American Society for Nondestructive Testing/Nondestructive Testing (ASNT)/NDT) Certification in Ultrasonics
3D modeling experience such as CATIA V5 or similar
Composite ultrasonic inspection experience
Robotics operation and programming experience
Eddy current array experience
Composite fabrication knowledge

Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $65,450 - $88,550
Summary pay range for Senior Level (Level 4): $78,200 - $105,800
