About The Role
Kyriba is an industry leader in cloud-based treasury, risk, and finance management solutions, empowering thousands of organizations globally to optimize their financial operations and drive strategic value, and, we are on the hunt for a dynamic senior pricing leader to fulfil our ambitious mission. In this role, you will lead our global pricing team and play the leading role in refining, optimizing, and executing on Kyriba’s global pricing strategies, ensuring we not only maximize revenue and profitability, but continue our quest to dominate the industry in market share. As a key member of the Marketing team, you will partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Finance, and the Strategy/Transformation team to drive outcomes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Show Us Your Pricing IQ - Lead a comprehensive effort to assess Kyriba’s current product pricing and packaging model, recommending opportunities to derive further value from our pricing strategy, considering company goals, market dynamics, predicted revenue impact, customer experience, product value drivers, and more.
Harness Your EQ - Align our senior leadership team on recommendations to update Kyriba’s product pricing strategy and model(s), getting input and buy-in from key cross-functional stakeholders.
Measure Your Impact - Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of pricing strategies and the impact on the organization.
Develop Your Talent Bench - Build, mentor, and lead the global pricing team. Foster a collaborative yet accountable environment.
Spill the Market Tea - Lead competitive analysis and benchmarking to assess market trends, customer willingness-to-pay, and competitive positioning. Monitor industry, regulatory, and economic trends to anticipate impacts on pricing.
Bring the Power of Pricing to Life - Cultivate an enthusiasm for pricing subject matter expertise within the Kyriba organisation.
Be a Strong Project Leader - Develop comprehensive plans to manage all facets of product pricing refinements (strategy, processes, systems, reporting), aligning with organisational objectives and internal/external stakeholders. Identify and mitigate risks and challenges with project delivery and proactively minimize disruptions to operations.
Build a Culture of Iteration - Bring an attitude of ʼnow whatʼ, utilising technology and a systems thinking mindset to continuously improve pricing effectiveness, drive innovation and enhance overall efficiency.
Education, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
10 years progressively responsible experience in leading pricing strategy, transformation, and analytical initiatives.
Ability to establish and maintain strong cross-functional relationships across the organisation. Possesses a cross-functional mindset to manage and influence a diverse set of stakeholders towards successful project outcomes.
Excellent communication and leadership skills. Executive presence to work with Kyriba executive committee leaders.
Keen understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to inform effective pricing strategies.
Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and strategic skills to evaluate, interpret data, and effectively address challenges. Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet evolving business needs.
Preferred Attributes
Experience in SaaS, Financial Technology or similar environment
