Job Discerption

The Pool Attendant will be responsible for the maintenance, safety, and smooth operation of the swimming pool and related equipment. This role focuses on the technical upkeep, monitoring water quality, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting the engineering team in pool operations

Job Responsibilities:

  General :

• Executes all tasks assigned by his/her superiors 

• Demonstrates a high degree of standards awareness; promotes teamwork and acts as role model 

• Attends all scheduled training sessions 

• Displays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and internal customers; lives the Golden Rule 

• Adheres to the hotel's code of conduct and grooming & hygiene standards 

• Actively participates in briefings and meetings 

• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and promotes a safe working environment  

• Performs any other cognate duties as and when required.

Departmental :

·  Monitor and maintain pool water quality by testing and adjusting chemical levels regularly (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, etc.)

·  Perform routine cleaning of the pool area, pool filters, pumps, and mechanical equipment

·  Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance of pool equipment (pumps, filtration systems, heaters, chlorinators) to ensure proper functioning

·  Identify and report any mechanical faults or safety hazards to the engineering supervisor

·  Assist in the repair or replacement of pool equipment as needed, working closely with the engineering team

·  Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations related to pool operations

·  Maintain accurate records of pool maintenance, chemical usage, and equipment servicing

·  Support emergency response procedures in case of pool-related malfunctions

·  Assist with setup and breakdown of pool-related engineering tasks as required

Special Requirements :

• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in French/English languages 

• Must be service oriented and be able to maintain Four Seasons Hotel Standard at all times 

• Must be willing to perform shift work 
• Experience in the hotel industry would be an advantage

The transferring employee will be responsible for obtaining or will currently hold proper work authorization for the country in which the position is located.
