We are looking for a talented individual who shares our values to join our team as Warehouse Manager. This position reports to the Profit Centre Manager with responsibility for overseeing all operational activities within the pharmaceutical warehouse, ensuring efficient management of processes, resources, and documentation from the point of receipt to delivery to the customer. This includes supervising inventory, coordinating shipments, managing the warehouse team, maintaining safety standards, and optimizing workflows. The Warehouse Manager ensures that all operations are carried out smoothly, accurately, and cost-effectively, while ensuring compliance with regulations and meeting performance goals.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Plan and schedule daily warehouse operations, prioritizing efficient workflow and meeting operational goals.
- Manage warehouse team and allocate tasks to optimize performance.
- Ensure proper receiving, storage, and issuing of inventory.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, track stock levels, and handle restocking when necessary.
- Maintain health and safety standards and promote a culture of safety amongst team.
- Establish strong communication channels with internal teams, external customers, and suppliers.
- Coordinate order fulfilment activities, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
- Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely dispatch and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the offloading of goods from containers and breakbulk cargo.
- Ensure teams have the necessary tools and training to deliver a positive customer experience.
Job Requirements:
- A Degree or Diploma in Business Management or a related field.
- A minimum of two (2) years inventory management experience at a managerial/ supervisory level.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and or logistics management.
