OPPORTUNITY

Ribbon Communications is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Angular Developer to join our team and help build user-facing features for our next-generation application interface. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn and grow in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

As a member of the Advanced Technology development team, you will contribute to the front-end of our Big Data and Analytics platform. You’ll work with technologies such as Angular, Kubernetes/Docker, Hadoop, and others, within a virtualized, microservices-based architecture, while being mentored by experienced developers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in developing and maintaining UI components for web applications.
Work closely with senior developers to implement front-end features.
Collaborate with UX designers and back-end developers to ensure smooth integration.
Test and debug front-end code to ensure quality and performance.
Participate in code reviews and team discussions to improve code quality and share knowledge.
Stay current with new technologies and frameworks to support development efficiency.
Follow development best practices, including responsive design and accessibility.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
2-4 years of experience in Angular development (internships or personal projects welcome).
Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
Exposure to RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with back-end services.
Willingness to learn about containerized environments (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD tools.
Strong attention to detail and a growth mindset.
Good communication skills and willingness to learn from peers.
