About the Partner Development Manager:
The Partner Development Manager builds relationships with prospective, new, and inactive Vonage partners. They establish strategies and methods to efficiently onboard and train various partners enabling them to understand and effectively sell Vonage products. They assist Vonage channel managers in fostering long-term relationships with partners in becoming valuable resellers. Partner Development Managers are assigned to channel partners based on geography, channel, or market. They are responsible for achieving sales, marketing, and partner recruitment objectives with new, inactive, and prospective Vonage partners.
Location: US - Remote
What Will You Do?
Prospect and recruit new partners through outbound calls and emails.
Reactivate inactive partners through outbound calls and emails.
Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts
Evaluate partner sales performance throughout the onboarding and early stages of working with the partner and recommend improvements
Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs throughout the onboarding and early stages of working with partners.
Stay current with the latest developments in the marketplace and competitor activities
Facilitate all communications with partners; channel activities, marketing programs, sales documents, product rollouts, quotes, pricing, proposals, and support resources
Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales, and identify new business opportunities
Achieve assigned sales quota
What Will You Need to Succeed?
Sales experience
Telecom, UCaaS, and CPaaS experience is a plus
Previous experience with Salesforce is a plus
Previous experience with Outreach is a plus
Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with partners
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong organization and time management skills
Excellent Sales Skills with the ability to prepare and present sales presentations
Excellent communication skills using all forms of communication

The pay range for this position is between $22.24 and $25.25 and is paid hourly. This pay structure may include a variable bonus component of $25,000.00 annually. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
