DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Information Technology department is responsible for the implementation, provision and support of all information and technology services within the firm. The IT department is a Business Services function that supports and contributes to the objectives of the legal practice. Members of this department are expected to be a part of the firm's culture and be committed to providing a high quality of service to our customers.
The Global Identity & Access Management team are responsible for Identity and Access Management. This includes, but is not limited to, Identity Lifecycle Management and access controls across multiple systems and applications in line with the firm's Security & Access control policies. The future state of IAM will be controlled using a centralised IGA tool called IdentityNow where the goal will be to develop further integration with the firm’s various applications and services to ensure a consistent user experience and system driven security controls.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identity and Access Management Administration
- Responsible for ensuring that the housekeeping and administration of the firm's Identities, accounts and access are carried out in accordance with the firm's policies and procedures; this may differ across different offices and regions due to different jurisdictional requirements.
- Maintaining and administering accounts and access to several applications and file stores.
- Assists in defining access rights and privileges and administering logical access controls in line with Security Policies.
- Apply access control modelling to further enhance access control capabilities and automation
Identity and Access Management Engineering
- Responsible for ensuring that the housekeeping and administration of the firm's Identities, accounts and access are carried out in accordance with the firm's policies and procedures; this may differ across different offices and regions due to different jurisdictional requirements.
- Maintaining and configuring custom integrations from the IGA solution to endpoints
- Assists in defining access integration requirements and designing solutions to accomplish IGA goals
Compliance and Best Practice Frameworks
- Ensuring compliance and best practice using various frameworks such as ITIL, ISO27000, NIST, CIS, GDPR, COBIT etc
Troubleshooting Integrations & Sources
- Respond to incidents regarding integrations and sources in a timely fashion and work to restore services as soon as possible
- Assist with troubleshooting issues with integrations and sources within the IGA solution
- Work on root cause analysis investigations and document findings to ensure future incidents can be avoided where possible
- Suggest further enhancements to existing integrations and sources to aid efficiency and effectiveness of the overall IGA strategy
- Identify possible points of failure for proactive remediation
Service Requests
- Ensuring all service requests are processed in line with the Incident Management process and agreed service level targets (SLT's).
- Proactively managing all updates to relevant parties regarding service requests through to resolution.
Audit and Reporting
- Creating and maintaining audit trails relating to all service requests and access controls.
- Produce and participate in internal audit reports as requested. Provide Ad-Hoc reporting and investigation using SIEM technology (Sentinel & FAM) as required.
- Aid with remediation of audit findings
Functional Knowledge Sharing and Contributing to Continual Improvement
- Develop, publish, share and maintain documentation to drive a consistent and effective service.
- Contribute to building the competency within Global Identity & Access Management team by ensuring effective knowledge sharing.
- Identify training needs or requirements for yourself individually or for the team.
- Proactively identify opportunities to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness of the procedures used to administer Identity and Access Management.

- Experience of working with multiple forests and in-depth knowledge and understanding of Identity & Access Management, as well as broader Information Security concepts
- Reliable and open-minded with a passion to drive solutions
- Experience with application integration using REST API’s

QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING
- Tertiary qualification or 4 years relevant work experience required
- ITIL Foundation Certification preferred
- IdentityNow Essentials Training preferred
- Microsoft Certifications advantageous
- SailPoint IdentityNow Certifications advantageous
- Security Certifications advantageous
