The Instrumentation Group at ADI is seeking a Staff Digital Design Engineer to join our team in Istanbul, Turkey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop micro-architecture and RTL designs based on power, performance, and area trade-offs.
  • Implement design-for-test (DFT) features including scan insertion, test pattern generation, and fault grading.
  • Collaborate with verification teams to achieve complete functional closure at both RTL and gate levels.
  • Work with digital implementation teams to optimize design quality, area, and power.
  • Perform lint checks and sanity synthesis.
  • Mentor and train team members on new architectures and design improvements.
  • Conduct formal verification and coverage analysis.
  • Support post-silicon debug and validation activities.
  • Integrate digital IPs such as SPI, I2C, UART, JTAG, and other serial interfaces and peripherals.
  • Develop comprehensive user guides for RTL integration, synthesis, DFT, PnR, programming sequences, and characterization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Electronic Engineering with 8+ years of experience in digital IC design.
  • Proficient in digital logic design and RTL coding using Verilog, SystemVerilog, and VHDL.
  • Experience with timing constraints, synthesis, and static timing analysis tools.
  • Solid understanding of DSP fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and/or TCL is a plus.
  • Experience in digital verification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of linting, CDC, formal equivalence, DFT concepts, and power analysis.
  • Strong grasp of control and data-path design principles with a focus on correct-by-construction methodologies.
  • Experience with full ASIC/SoC product development and productization.
  • Skilled in IP integration including memories, I/Os, embedded processors, hard macros, and analog IPs.
