What you'll do

As a Production Management Specialist, you’ll be providing technical expertise in support of IT systems and acting as a recognised subject matter expert in one or more technology platforms. You’ll be collaborating with and influencing colleagues and stakeholders across the bank and third party suppliers on the area of specialist knowledge service, ensuring the timely delivery of solutions which support the business.

You’ll also be:

  • Participating in the introduction into operation and hand-over to support new systems and developments
  • Undertaking ongoing evaluation and analysis of current capacity to provide the required performance, liaising with other technology representatives to optimise value to the business
  • Contributing to the management of inbound work requests and ensuring prioritisation and scheduling of work against agreed business schedules
  • Helping to make sure that resilient applications and infrastructure and recovery plans meet the business recovery requirements
  • Providing 24/7 on-call support for critical banking processes, collaborating effectively during major incidents

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with a technical understanding, including platform, technology, products and domains. You’ll need advanced knowledge of one or more service management disciplines such as incident, problem, change IT, continuity or capacity. You'll need at least eight years of experience in Monitoring, Alerting, and Building alerts using tools like CheckMK, Grafana, ArgoCD, and Kafka Lenses.

You'll need experience in IT Continuity and Disaster Recovery Test coordination. You'll also need experience in Microservices, APIs and AWS with a proactive approach to service improvement and post-change reviews.

You’ll also demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of relevant industry standard tools and processes
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
