The Clinical Data Coordinator will lead several NIH and foundation funded research projects for the Department of Pediatrics, working with a team of coordinators who are already in place. Primary duties include all aspects of engaging in the research projects such as data collection, data entry, literature review, delivery of intervention services, coordination across sites and reporting to the Principal Investigator as well as to the Vice Chair for Research and other Department leadership.Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate IRB original submission, modifications, and renewals, along with perform IRB maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate and manage assigned research studies’ collection, compilation, documentation, and analysis of research data.
- Assist with grant preparation and reporting.
- Implement training protocol with families and train other providers.
- Assist with data entry, data management, and other related tasks.
- Coordinate and manage grant and research schedule with supervisor and participants.
- Assist with standard office responsibilities (e.g., preparing materials, filing).
- Complete assessments during baseline, post, and follow-up sessions.
- Assist with training of outside agency providers on the techniques of the evidence-based practices.
- Attend scheduled trainings and staff meetings.
- Traveling as needed, to sites, meetings, and trainings.

Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, health professions, or a related field of study. Experience may be substituted for education on a year for year basis.
Work Experience:
- Two (2) years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite, primary Word.
- One (1) year of experience using SPSS statistical software.
- Two (2) years of previous research experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
Work Experience:
- Experience conducting interventions or research with children and families.
Languages:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.

The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
