About the role:
We are seeking an energetic Accountant to join the Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) finance team for a 6-week, part time fixed term contract. The main function of the role will be to assist in the completion of our financial year-end procedures. In addition, you will also be involved in the below tasks.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Reports)
- Preparation of monthly departmental reports.
- Assist with preparation of year-end statutory accounts.
- Preparation of monthly forecasts
- Providing ad hoc advice to other members of the finance team (e.g. coding issues).
- Maintenance of the General Ledger and Asset Register.
- Assist the revenue team with client bookings
- Assist the accounts payable function with invoice processing and
- Assist with any further requirements as they arise.
About You:
- Be in the process of completing or recently completed your CA/CPA;
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving and organisational skills;
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and effectively prioritise your workload;
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and decision making skills;
- Driven to work autonomously while participating to a collaborative environment.
- A positive attitude with a continuous improvement outlook, seeking and sourcing ways to improve efficiencies and processes; and
- Ability to develop and foster strong relationships with stakeholders and a dedication to providing exceptional service to internal customers.
