Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Back Office Specialist to join our Finance Department. This role is responsible for verifying banking documents, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards, and providing live verification of information in collaboration with directors and other key stakeholders. The position requires excellent communication skills, accuracy, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Verification: Review and validate banking documents received from partner banks to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Live Verification: Communicate in real time with bank representatives and clients to clarify or confirm any missing or incorrect information.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all banking-related documentation and transactions.
- Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on document verification status and escalate issues to the Finance Manager when necessary.
- Compliance Support: Ensure all banking operations and documentation comply with company policies.
- Coordination: Liaise with other departments to gather required information and facilitate smooth completion of finance processes.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in document workflows and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive financial data with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in back-office operations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing financial documents.
- Excellent communication skills in Albanian and English (verbal and written).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Docs, Gmail) and familiarity with financial management systems..
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle real-time requests.
