The Architecture Compute, and Engineering organization provides a transformative platform ecosystem with a comprehensive set of capabilities that empowers end users and digital product teams to innovate seamlessly and drive growth for Allstate through the Consumer  Connected Cloud mission. This ecosystem aims to provide an absolute frictionless experience for our user community.

As a Digital Product Manager in the ACE organization, you'll be contributing towards defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of one or more products ensuring they meet the needs of the customers and align with the company’s strategic goals. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical understanding, and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate the vision and strategy for digital product/s.

• Market Research: Conduct market and user research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

• Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch new digital products.

• Roadmap Management: Create and continuously maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business goals and customer needs.

• Ongoing Management: Work with the Digital Product team to write & groom stories, prioritize, and manage the backlog.

• Performance Monitoring: Definite product performance metrics & monitor product performance using analytics tools and make data-driven decisions.

• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product progress and updates to internal stakeholders and external partners.

• Budget Management: Manage product budgets and resources efficiently.

• Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to continually improve the product.

• A minimum of 4 years of product management experience.

• Proven experience leading a product of significant scope & complexity

• Proven experience influencing across product management peers across the ACE organization, as well as influencing the engineering & architecture trades as well

• Proven experience driving optimization of product ceremonies for maximum efficiency of the product team

• Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.

• Proven experience operating as a ‘coach’ partnering & mentoring early-in-trade product management peers across a broader technology organisation; a known expert in the organization

Core Technical Skills in IAM & Security

• Strong understanding of IAM protocols: SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, LDAP, Kerberos

• Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and least privilege access models

• Experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC)

• Knowledge of multi-factor authentication (MFA) and passwordless authentication technologies

• Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and certificate-based authentication

• Experience integrating SSO (Single Sign-On) with enterprise applications

🛡️ Network Security Expertise

• Familiarity with network segmentation, firewalls, VPN, NAT, IPS/IDS, and TLS/SSL

• Understanding of cloud-native security controls in Azure, AWS, and/or GCP (e.g., security groups, IAM roles, network ACLs)

• Knowledge of data loss prevention (DLP), encryption at rest/in transit, and endpoint detection and response (EDR)

• Awareness of SIEM tools and security event correlation (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel)

☁️ Cloud Identity & Security

• Experience managing identity in Azure AD, Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, or Auth0

• Understanding of Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB) and cloud governance

• Knowledge of identity federation, cross-domain identity management (SCIM), and B2B/B2C identity models

• Experience implementing privileged access management (PAM) for cloud and on-prem workloads

🧠 General Technical Proficiency

• Ability to read and understand logs, JSON, or YAML config files

• Experience working with APIs and SDKs, especially for identity integrations

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating IAM/security into DevOps workflows

• Comfortable partnering with security engineers, cloud engineers, and architects on threat models and remediation

📊 Security Frameworks, Compliance & Risk

• Working knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks, SOC 2, HIPAA, or GDPR as it relates to IAM/security

• Familiarity with risk assessment frameworks (e.g., FAIR, STRIDE, DREAD)

• Experience translating security requirements into product features and roadmap priorities

🧪 Bonus Experience

• Hands-on experience in penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, or identity governance & administration (IGA)

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft SC-300

• Experience building or product managing security tools, dashboards, or orchestration platform
