Location: Tower Wood 

Salary: £24,310 - £24,404 Per Annum (Pro Rata), plus enhancements for weekends & evenings.

 

We are currently recruiting… 

Cooks to work within Outdoor Education Services at our Tower Wood centre on the shores of Lake Windermere for Lancashire County Council.

We have three positions up for grabs:

  • 2 x 24-hour posts 
  • 1 x 18-hour post. 

This position is part time, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent, the salary received will be paid on a pro–rata basis.

Where you could be working…

Tower Wood – Situated on the shores of Lake Windermere, Tower Wood offers unique facilities within eleven acres of grounds, a privately owned boathouse giving access to the Lake with breath-taking views. We have up to 107 bed capacity at this location. 

Your new role…

Cook – We are seeking three enthusiastic, organised individuals to oversee the running of our well-equipped kitchen in the beautiful location of Tower Wood – our ideal candidates will be welcoming and friendly and be able to guide a small team to provide high quality, tasty and nutritious food-planning some fabulous meals. You'll be able to support the team, listen to ideas and positively encourage everyone to take pride in their work – you'll set the standard for hygiene and ensure everyone is aware of the importance of individual dietary and allergen requirements. Diligent record keeping and supporting the House Manager to order quality ingredients are a must.
