1. Project Execution
- Planning, design, and execution of hydromechanical works including penstocks, gates, valves, and hoisting systems
- Ensure timely completion of hydromechanical components in alignment with overall project schedules and milestones
- 2. Installation & Commissioning Supervision
- 3. Team Management & Coordination
- 5. Risk Management & Compliance
- 6. Documentation & Reporting
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of hydromechanical equipment at project sites
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards during execution.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, supervisors, and technicians involved in hydromechanical works
- Allocate resources effectively and resolve technical or operational challenges on-site.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with internal departments, external consultants and contractors to ensure smooth coordination and approvals
- Identify potential risks in hydromechanical design and execution and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards such as IS, IEC, ASME, and environmental norms.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of project progress, technical issues, and resolutions
- Generate regular reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Qualification: BE/B Tech or Diploma in Mechanical engineering on regular basis.
- Exp: Minimum 15 yrs for BE/B Tech and 18 yrs for Diploma holder in hydromechanical works in Hydro/PSP.
