Background
The Human Resources Department (HRD) in coordination with the Information Technology Department (ITD), at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), hereafter referred to as the ‘Fund’, has developed a path forward to continue the Modernization of the Human Resource function and the HRD Service Delivery model. The plan, titled HRD Modernization 2.0, is based on a multi-pronged approach, including sustaining, and enhancing existing systems with a view to improving operations, simplifying, and streamlining policies and processes, and moving forward with the implementation of the remaining scope in Workday, including the leave of absences module.
Under the supervision of the Unit Chief for the Digital Finance and Human Resources Unit in ITD, and in close collaboration with the Workday team lead, functional administrators in HRD, as well as other key stakeholders from the HR Modernization team, the Projects Officer the Project Officer will be responsible for the support, design, configuration, and implementation of Workday integrations needed to support the HR Modernization 2.0 project.
Duration
ITD would like to engage the contractual a Short-Term Contractual (STC) assignment starting on August 25th, 2025, and through April 30th, 2026 (for up to a total of 90 working days).
Responsibilities/Outputs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HRD, FIN, ITD and other stakeholders, to gather integration requirements and align them with business objectives.
- Based on the requirements identified, and in partnership with HRD, support the design and development of Workday integration solutions, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and implement necessary security measures to protect sensitive information during integration processes.
- Create documentation for integration processes, including design specifications, data mapping, and configuration details.
- Conduct testing and validation of integrations to guarantee their proper functioning before deployment. Assist the Project Team during the UAT Phase as needed.
- Create Reports as required by the project for Reconciliation activities
- Assist with Data Setup for Unit Testing as needed
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members during the implementation phase.

STC Assignment Logistics
Availability and Travel: STC is expected to work remotely from Spain for this contract and his availability during core IMF HQ EDT Working hours as coordinated with the Project Manager.
