GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Director of Sales will be responsible for establishing sales strategies, managing leads, direct selling, and overseeing sales staff to achieve sales and occupancy goals of the community.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

  1. Direct sales experience, demonstrated success in achieving individual and team sales goals, and ability to build effective relationships.  
  2. Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people including prospects, residents, and staff.
  3. Experience in utilizing a computerized leads database
  4. Supervisory experience, including the ability to motivate others.
  5. Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people including prospects, residents, and community staff.
  6. Good decision-making ability.
  7. Excellent presentation and communication skills and the ability to write clearly and concisely required.  
  8. Ability to work independently with self-discipline and motivation.
  9. Experience with retirement housing or related work within the senior adult market preferred.  
  10. Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and database systems a must.  
  11. Attendance is essential to this job.  Must also maintain dependability and punctuality as outlined in Attendance policy.

  4. Established phone sales skills.
  5. Demonstrate a polished sales image and work atmosphere, a customer-focused attitude, and a sales-focused drive.
  6. Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  7. Excellent customer service skills
