The Opportunity
The Senior Director - The Payments Leader will be responsible for defining and executing the product vision and strategy for our Person to Person Payments platform. This role requires a deep understanding of industry trends, customer needs, and technological advancements to ensure a seamless and efficient payment experience.
The Work Itself
- Define Product Vision and Strategy: Develop a compelling vision and strategic plan for P2P payments that aligns with the company's overall objectives and customer needs.
- Analyze Industry Trends: Stay informed about the latest developments in the payments industry, including regulatory changes, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies, to inform product strategy.
- Develop and Maintain Product Roadmap: Create and manage a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines key milestones, deliverables, and timelines to achieve strategic goals.
- Define Clear Product Requirements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into detailed product requirements and specifications.
- Ensure and Own End-to-End Payment Experience: Oversee the entire payment process, ensuring a smooth, secure, and user-friendly experience for customers.
- Define and Track Key Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and make data-driven decisions that support business objectives.
- Manage and Align Key Stakeholders: Work closely with Operations, Risk, Finance, Treasury, Technology, and Digital teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of the product strategy.
- Define and Implement Experience Enhancements: Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience by reducing friction, call volume, and overall expenses, and implement solutions to address these areas.
The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in product management, specifically in payments or financial services.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret industry trends and data to drive strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in developing and executing product roadmaps.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the payments industry.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Base Pay Range: $165000 - $240000 USDAn individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
