WHO we’re looking
for:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Director to to develop and lead a team of focused sales professionals supporting our Data and Analytics practice. This leadership role will lead a team to deliver on the growth of the new net business and new pipelines. The role requires a deep understanding of the market and competition to develop appropriate winning sales strategies and apply the sales and solution expertise, in conjunction with project teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading high functioning sales teams, excellent strategic thinking abilities, and a passion for technology. Reports directly to the CEO of WorldLink and is based on site in our Frisco, TX office.
Role
and Responsibilities:
- Coaching the sales team to identify, target, and cultivate relationships with potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
- Manage team KPI’s and all productivity reporting.
- Handle internal hiring practices for the Sales Team, including but not limited to interviewing and selecting potential team members, training new team members, and performance management.
- Responsible for identifying and closing deals.
- Develop a team that is the face of WorldLink to the market and help position us as an industry leader and trusted advisor, enabling the hunters to sell.
- Leverage the WorldLink ecosystem of capabilities across technology practices, industry verticals and service lines to help develop outcome base solutions that address the client’s business problems.
- Achieving company growth objectives through the development and execution of strategic sales plans
Required Experience and Education:
- 10+ years of experience, with strong sales experience in service.
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or similar.
- Stellar track record of leading high functioning and revenue generating teams.
- Understanding of Global Delivery Model (offshore/outsourcing) and large deal experience.
- Strong hunting experience with Net-New logos.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant business development experience selling IT services.
- Track record of interacting and building relationships with CXOs of leading organization.
- Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentation.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Necessary Skills and Attributes:
- Self-motivated individual with
the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organization and reporting skills.
- Ability to coach and develop teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- History of achieving/overachieving sales targets.
- Experience in S/W contract negotiations.
- Experience with competitor mapping and SWAT analysis.
- Ability to define specific ground-breaking solutions within abstract environments.
- Well networked within the IT services industry, financial services and capital markets vertical.
- Ability to identify upcoming RFPs / deals by networking with key client partners.
- Must be onsite at Frisco Headquarters office.

terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high
visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger
dexterity.
Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally
periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual
challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May
require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
