We’re Civeo, one of the fastest-growing hospitality employers in Australia. We run large-scale accommodation villages that support the mining industry across regional Queensland. Right now, we’re looking for experienced Line Chefs with a formal qualification, based in New Zealand to join us on a 14:7 fly-in-fly-out roster. At the moment, we’re only able to accept applications from New Zealand citizens.

What’s the gig?
You’ll work for two weeks on-site, then head home to NZ with a week to yourself. While you’re on site, here’s what you can expect:
- Preparing and cooking large-volume, high-quality meals (sometimes for 3,000+ people daily!)
- Following set menus and food safety procedures (HACCP knowledge essential)
- Working collaboratively with your team to deliver consistently high standards
- Day and/or night shifts required, either 10.5 or 12 hr working days
- Contributing to a positive, respectful kitchen culture

What we’re looking for
- NZ Citizenship (no visa needed)
- A New Zealand Certificate in Cookery Level 4 (as a minimum)
- Experience in bulk or fast-paced commercial kitchens
- Flexibility and a team-first attitude
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
- Strong time management and resilience — this is a physically demanding job with real rewards
