The Associate Account Services Coordinator plays a vital role in overseeing and managing administrative and processing requirements within the Account Services team to support both internal and external customers effectively. This position ensures the timely and accurate processing of customer requests related to benefit design, pricing, and contractual updates, contributing to the overall success of Delta Dental and its clients. The role involves validating account data within the organization's systems and recommending updates to procedures to maintain consistency and streamline workflows.

  • Client Account Management:
    • Handle client requests for non-rated and rate-impacting changes to existing business by maintaining a strong understanding of account structures and system configurations.
    • Serve as an internal backup to the Account Manager, providing seamless service to clients and collaborating with internal teams.
  • Benefit Configuration & Research:
    • Analyze and interpret benefit configurations, account structures, products, and plan designs to ensure accurate and timely workflow processing.
    • Develop expertise in system usage and workflows to research, resolve, and communicate solutions for client or broker inquiries.
  • Collaborative Problem Solving:
    • Build and maintain strong working relationships across functional areas to address and resolve client issues efficiently.
    • Communicate resolutions clearly to stakeholders, including clients, brokers, Account Managers, Sales Support, and Sales Management.
  • Contractual Document Oversight:
    • Review, validate, distribute, and execute contractual documents for client accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
  • Customer Engagement Support:
    • Gain product knowledge and presentation skills to effectively support open enrollment meetings, delivered onsite or virtually, to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.

 

  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. easten time and the ability to work in a hybrid model,  two office days or more per month depending on business need per month at the Alpharetta, GA location.  Must reside within commuting distance to the office.  
  • High school diploma or GED with 3-5 years of experience with a focus on administrative support. Sales or account management experience a plus and an insurance license may be required in certain states. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and proofreading. 
  • Experience with Saleforce Customer Relationship Managment (CRM) tool a plus! 
  • Experience providing direct and indirect client support.
  • Familiarity with Delta Dental and competitor products/services preferred.
  • Knowledge of Current Dental Terminology (CDT) codes and dental nomenclature is a plus.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and time management skills.
  • Proven organizational skills, including multi-tasking and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks, while improving existing processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information professionally.


Base Pay Information 

The national base pay range at the end is a good faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications, and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. 
Pay Grade 16. $45,400 - $95,000
