Key Components:
This position is reserved for Federal Work Study (FWS) students only. This position is ideal for students looking to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing and social media management, perfect for students pursuing a career in marketing or communications.
- In a student employee capacity, may assist in working with external community service partners.
- Help manage Waco Civic Theatre’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).
- Create engaging content, including posts, stories, and event promotions.
- Assist in developing marketing strategies for upcoming shows and events.
- Photograph rehearsals and shows for post content and theatre records.
- Analyze social media metrics and provide insights to improve engagement.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency.
Job Description:
- Work with local organization(s) or community partners
- Provide excellent customer service as a representative of the University
- May assist with planning, organizing, and implementing community services or programs
- May assist with various projects, activities or tasks related to community projects
- May contribute to developing and maintaining good relationships with internal and external partners
- May serve as a source to provide information about resources and assistance related to community program(s) or service(s)
- May serve to enhance outreach for the greater Waco community
- Ensure confidentiality of all pertinent information
- May prepare and present information in a group or workshop setting
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
